Happy Easter 2012

Wow, Easter in Billings was a beauty!  The weather was just perfect!  Ethan had a great weekend with lots of fun new adventures.

On Thursday, we visited our friends Shay and R.D. and Ethan colored Easter eggs with their sweet kids.

He had a blast and made a HUGE mess.  This was the first time he got to color eggs and wow, did he have so much fun.  May have to make this a yearly tradition :)

He was quite the poser for all of these pictures.  He just loves to play with Robby.  As Ethan gets older, he and Robby play more and more rough.  I'm so glad he has someone to do that with that I know will be as nice as possible to him in the process.

By the end of egg coloring, I think he was more interested in seeing how much dye he could get on himself.  Unfortunately, the dye did not come off very easy!

On Friday, Ethan started asking if he could go meet the Easter Bunny!  I was overjoyed that he actually WANTED to go meet him.  We've never taken him because Santa was enough of a fight that I figured it wasn't worth it, but here he was ASKING!  So, off we went to the mall Saturday morning and he not only saw the Easter Bunny, but let him put Ethan in his lap!  What a big boy he's turning into!  We got a great picture and a cool hat to boot.  Then we had a surprise visit from our friend Ian!  It was a very great surprise; we don't get to see him very often :)

On Easter Sunday, we spent the day with our family in Roundup.  We had a nice dinner and Ethan got to run around in the country and play baseball!  We also had an awesome Easter Egg hunt in the front yard with more eggs that Ethan and daddy colored and decorated like monsters.

Ethan loved being able to decorate his eggs and get crafty with daddy.  They were very creative and his eggs were super cute!

Parker was loved as always and passed from person to person.  These boys are so adored.  On our way home from Roundup, we got to stop by and see Grandma and Grandpa Williams.  Ethan immediately grabbed Grandpa to go play.  It's so fun to watch him growing into a kid.  I just can't believe he is going to be 3 in a month!

Sunday night was the first time in about 2 months I was able to bowl!  I had the best time and for the first time in a while, I truly felt like Crystal!  It felt so good to be out of the house doing something fun with my friends!  I bowled well my first two games so I'm sure that helped it feel so great too :)

That's about all for Easter weekend.  Hope you all had a special family weekend as well!  Until next time....

Just for fun!

So since so many people think our boys look so much alike as babes, I thought I would throw up some pictures of each of them in similar poses!

(Ethan's a little older here than Parker is in that picture so he's a little more chunky, but still pretty similar)

These pictures are absolutely identical to me!  So fun to do the same poses and compare.  They are definitely brothers!  Love their big blues!

Our weekend...

We had an awesome start to the weekend when our amazing friends Jacki and Colin Gerstner came for a visit on Friday!  We so rarely get to see them so it was a special treat to have them over for a bit and for them to meet Parker!  They thought, as almost everyone does, that Parker looks just like Ethan did as a baby.  It is so sweet and amazing to see our friends love our babies so much.  We are very lucky to have our friends!  Later that night, our besties Dennis, Shelly, and Brandon came over for some dinner and Phase 10!

On Saturday, we had a surprise "kidnapping" of Ethan to Grandpa's for the day!  It was very relaxing to sit together and have some quiet time  It was all in all a relaxing day of just enjoying our little peanut.

Sunday brought about more fun for Ethan!  Grandpa took him to the circus!  The Al Bedoo Shrine Circus was in town and Ethan was overjoyed to go!  He was scared to ride the elephants at first and when he decided he was ready, they were done with rides for the day.

He was very bummed and has talked about it ever since.  He tells me that elephants are his favorite animal.  He's so cute!  He did ride the ponies a few times and loved to meet the Tigers.

After the circus they went for ice cream!  He is so spoiled by his Grandpa.

Parker is growing so fast!  He had a doctor appointment last Thursday and he went from 7# 2oz to 8# 15oz in 2 weeks!  He also grew 2 inches!  The doctor was surprised and happy with his growth!  She says he's just perfect!  Nothing better for a parent than to hear those words...

I am feeling much better this week.  I have pain once in a while but overall I am getting better and better.  The doctor told me I could start bowling again!  I can't wait to get back on the lanes again!  The season is just about over but that's ok, I can enjoy the last few weeks.

That's all for now...Happy April!

Let the Blogs begin!!

Hello family and friends!

I know how much some of you dislike Facebook so I thought I may come up with a different way of keeping everyone up to date with our lives!

First off I'd like to say that soon there will be family photos taken and the photo you see in the heading above will be replaced with a picture of all 4 of us!  Right now, we can just remember back a little bit to how cute my little man was for his 1 year pictures :)

2012 has been a heck of a year so far and we are only 3 months in! As we welcomed our little Parker into the world, I realized how very blessed and lucky we are to have 2 beautiful, healthy boys to enjoy and watch grow! I thought we were pretty lucky to have one, but now 2!  Not sure what I did to deserve them...

I am enjoying maternity leave to its fullest and am happy to be feeling more like myself.  As I continue to heal from my C-section, I try to remember what I have been through in the last few weeks and I try to cut myself some slack.  As you all know, sometimes that's hard for me.

There is just about NOTHING in the world better than watching Ethan grow into a big brother.  Watching him kiss and hug his brother a hundred times a day is so heartwarming I can hardly stand it.  He seems so much bigger to me now.  He is so beautiful and his love is so pure and innocent.  I am starting to realize that bringing another baby into our family is only enriching his life even more.

My husband, my best friend.  Everyday I fall more and more in love with him.  He is so supportive and loving with me and our boys.  He never forgets to tell me everyday how much he loves me and how beautiful I am.  He makes me feel so empowered and strong.  Watching him take care of our two boys only cements my love for him.  He has been so wonderful about letting me rest and supporting me through my recovery, while being an outstanding and loving daddy to the boys.  Really, how lucky can one girl get!?
